Thank goodness this thread is created so we can remember our past furbabies even tho we have new ones.:(
My little Star was 1 week from her 1st B.D. when she had to be euthenized.:(
This was one of the hardest and 1st times I ever had to to this.
Thank goodness my husband was supportive and helped me. Unusual as he is a rock and rarely shows emotion. (I always tell him he's human but not humane:p ). All aside it was a horrible year, my mother died in April then in May my Starry was diagnosed with toxoplamosis and GME. We fought it, going to Houston to see a nuerologist bc it was easier to stay there than A&M since my mother in law lives there. Anyway everyone was very supportive and watched me fall apart all summer.:( I still cry talking about it.
In the end I know It was the right time to euthenize her as she didn't want me to hold her and she was very uncomfortable at night with seizures and panting. I have her ashes here and was glad I got to be with her to the end. I still wonder if many things contributed to her death .. shots too early, food, etc.
Hopefully she is playing across the bridge with others here...she was very sweet and never complained....I love you Starry, rest in peace now ...mommy.
