First off, I want to wish everyone a happy St. Patty's Day!! Hope you all had a great one!

I took Mia on a walk today over to a park in La Jolla right down the street from our house. While there, a lady with 2 bichon was there and we were talking while our babies played. We started talking about grooming and she informed me that the PetSmart in La Jolla, the one off Villa La Jolla Dr, has killed 2 dogs during a groom! I couldnt believe it! I guess Mia will be taking her business elsewhere for her first groom!

Please be careful when taking your precious little ones to bet their hair cut!

WHA?! :eek:I just took LB there! I've been there before w/o any incidents! LB just loves Heidi! I will definitely ask Heidi for more info! Thanks Krystal. I'm about to faint now!!!

I know!! She told me that it happened last summer and the parents of the dogs were sueing or something! I just wanted to pass that along to make sure we are all aware of it! She also said that she took one of hers in for a groom and the next time she literally had to pull him in! He did not want to even step foot inside the store! Maybe the girl who groomed those dogs doesnt work there anymore....

I imagine that groomer is long gone by now!!! How many times have you had Lilybelle to Heidi??? If she is doing a great job and Lilybelle isn't acting tramatized, things may be different than they were a year ago. Just something to think about.

Oh and I LOVE YOUR avatar, did you do it???? It looks great!

And Mia's mom, thanks for the post, never can be too careful and that's what this forum is all about, to help each other care for our pets the best we can! So it was a good posting.
