Mia's bully sticks came in the mail today from dog.com. She has been chewing on her bully stick for over an hour!!! Boy do they stink though!! Are these bully sticks healthy? I am sure they are, but what I mean is are they like treats where they are fattening? I just dont want to be giving Mia too many treats! ya know?

LOL, Mia is trying to kiss me and I wont let her!! its so gross!! She is going to get a bath AND have her teeth brushed whether she likes it or not!

Hahahahahaahahahaahaha I do not know what all the fuss is about, having to give baths, just brush their teeth. The smell fades.

Sunny does dances for the bully sticks. I do not know why but some are smellier than others, maybe the older they are the smellier they are?

They are high in protein but somewhat low in fat. Just checked the package the Protein 80% and fat 9%

I would rather give him a bully stick over greenies. I am scared to give him greenies so I will put up with the odd smell:D

Mine love bully sticks!! Yes they do smell but they last a long time and the furbabies love them!! The merrick bully sticks don't smell but the regular kind do. Also there is a member at YT that sells what she calls Pixie sticks, similar to bully sticks but not smelly and dogs just go nuts for them!! I also believe they are better and safer for them then regular rawhide bones.

I'm sorry but I can not bring myself to even touch these things, let alone give one to my pretty little girls to knaw on and then run to thank me with their kisses.

There are so many other products now that work just as great. I buy the beef tendons and they don't stink! They floss wonderfully! No wee wees for my girls!

I can't bring myself to buy those either...I know a lot of people give them to their furbabies, but not me. I just can't...Plus, they're high in protein and Miko's liver can't handle that.
