Tear stains

Has anyone used or heard of putting a little bit of white vinegar in their food or water to clear up tear stain? A vet told me one of his customers that shows her dogs used vinegar in food to give them those snow white faces. Just wondering if any of you have done this. Thanks

The girls here recomended me to use UNFILTER apple cider vinegar. I have been trying it for about a month I think and I do see a little result but I'm trying just about anything so I can't pinpoint which is doing the trick. I had to go to an organic store to buy it. Let me add they told me to put a few drops in DISTILL water. Weird but hey.

thanks! I might try that! His isn't that bad, but it still is not the snow white face i love. He is teething. So it could be that.
