Just a few links that might help some MT members find useful info on a variety of subjects.
humanesociety.org (have a first aid kit ready for your pet....meds, water, food and other vital info)

(get a list of foods harmful to your pet if ingested)

www.animalpoisonhotline.com (there are many common plants and flowers that are poisonous to dogs and cats. Get useful info on which ones are toxic and which ones are safe to keep around your pets.)
www.animalsheltering.org (you can read on-line copies of the Animal Sheltering magazine that provides info on shelter-related questions and to read the latest shelter news.)
www.stoppuppymills.org (info on how you can help shut down this horrible, cruel industry)
