ugh minnie has fleas... i saw one crawling but i lost it :( gives me the erks
she started advantage today and i hope it kills it ...

ugh i'm so worried.. what are my next steps?
change her bedding? do i need to clean the whole house? lol

These are the steps I would take if it were me

1. bathe her and take a flea comb to get all adult and flea eggs off her
2. vacuum the house everday for a week or two to get all the eggs and larvae
3. wash all her bedding (and yours if she sleeps with you)
4. get her a Capstar pill, its a 24 hour pill to kill all fleas

can i give her a capstar pill even though i put advantage topical on her yesterday?

Yes its just a 24-hour pill

I give Mitzy Comforits monthly and both my dogs get a Capstar anytime we go somewhere new (so we don't bring home fleas!!) :)

Those fleas make me crazy! haha, I gave Confortis to Lucas and I think it worked;). I Hope Miss Minnie will feel better after the medecine! I don't like seeing my baby scraching:(.

After seeing a flea on JiJa I itch all over and even think I have fleas on my head instead of lice. Probably just my mind playing tricks on me but shees I hate them.

thanks a lot ... i'm getting the capstar from the local vet today and i hope it works

does anyone have any recommendations for wooden floors?
