Mr. Wookie is from breeder Bonnie Plamer. Abbie lives in Scotland with her Mum not sure of her breeders name!!

I never do anything without permission from a breeder. My family does showing and I'd love to have some of her lineage. She does work with other breeders, because if you do a search of her online, she has other breeders she has worked with. I left a message for her on her phone. Not looking to be dishonest in any way. our pups are also sold on limited registration and my dogs also have small babydoll tear free faces.

We do bloodwork on all of our dogs before breeding, bruselosis testing and we test to make sure that the liver and such have no problems. We have the dr look them over make sure there are no eye nor hip problems and they check the pelvis also.

We have a lot of champions in our lineage. I don't put pedigrees online for no reason in particular. Our dogs each have different pedigrees. Some have as little as 8 champions in a 3-5 generation to 21+ . Just depends on the dog. Our stud has a ton of champions. Our prices are the way they are simply because I have been doing this my entire life with my family, our dogs are gorgeous, we have the beautiful look people are after, our females are bred no more than once per year, we don't have the eyestaining problems and we are genetically pretty clean..no major health problems. My pups stay w/me for a minimum of 12 weeks, more if i feel it's necessary. Plus, the location we are at is simply the going rate for the quality we have. And my husband has reminded me that a lot of people with no quality such as crpuppy and diva charge $5500-$7500 for many of their pups who aren't half as nice as ours and they ship the poor babies. We never ship and our pups are all on a strict spay/neuter contract. Anybody who can afford our pups is going to give them a great home. Our prices start at $1500 and go up. Right now it just so happens to be, we have some exceptional ones available. All 3 pups for sale now have EXCELLENT LINEAGE.

Andrea, you're in NYC it says. You should know pricing. 5th Avenue has a puppy shop that sells their pups for $5500!! We had a customer who bought one of ours recently after their dog from one of the pet shops in Manhattan died at 2 years old from major liver shunts. She said she spent $10k on surgery and $5500 on the pup from a PET SHOP.

I am looking at alot of breeders and Ta-Jon is top on my list.I will know who my puppies parent and grandparent are . I also like Tammy she is a very nice person. I wil never risk my puppies health again by not doing what is right.

Pedigrees, honestly there is no reason. Maybe will do it someday . I show them in person though!

Now as far as showing parents , honestly because I don't want people in my area to know how many dogs we have because we are new to the area and I think it could cause problems. We don't tell neighbors and such about breeding. We have a very good alarm system,but I am protective of my pups and dogs. This is why I don't give my address out freely. Call me old fashioned, the internet worries me a little. I do have pics as I have showed them and I do show my adults on premise. Tajon and Chalet and etc.... A lot are down south w/big kennels. We are a small comfortable home, not a kennel. And besides everybody has different styles.

Listen, well I have not gotten to posting my pedigrees online yet. The website is fairly new and I haven't done it. I don't personally show and it's not something that is on my top list of priorities. I have them here for anyone who wants to buy a pup to see . Pedigrees are a funny thing..you can get a dog from a breeder who has the nicest pedigrees but the pup is nowhere near good quality nor show quality,or you can get one with a lesser pedigree who can win championship! Anyhow, I love our pups, they are adorable, I do have some awesome pedigrees, but haven't thought of posting them yet. Good luck in your quest for a pup and please post pics when you get :)

I was thinking the same thing with regard to the prices!! But they are cute and very very small!!!! Kallie is a petshop dog (I purchased her from an individual when she was 2 yrs old) and weighs in at 10.5 lbs. She is huge compared to the wee pups on goldstarpups site!!

I always tell people that there is no such thing as teacup, however using that word on google as a search term attracts a lot of ppl to the site. My maltese are pretty tiny and have been bred down over the years to be healthy at maturity. They aren't runts.

Anyhow, on to the next subject. Any other questions bout my pups, email me. It takes me a long time to answer these questions i broke my hand right below my thumb the other day and it's hard to type w/a splint on.

Half the show breeders (which I am not and never claimed to be..my pricing has almost nothing to do w/lineage even though I do have nice lineage) online put EXTREME tinies available sometimes. Hell, chrisman charges $3000+ males and $3500+ females. Their prices are much higher and deserve to be! But, at the end of the day, we have beautiful small doll faced pups w/ no tear staining that honestly are tiny at maturity which is what people are looking for and we breed our dogs the proper way in our home once per year, spayed at 4-5 years old and we place them in an adoption home.

We can all agree to disagree right? Tinies,teacup whatever same thing different way of saying it.

You all have some beautiful pups and dogs online and I do look forward to getting to know you, but I am not trying to sell my pups here. I honestly do not need the extra help.

I think the one point that was "trying" to be made was that for those of us that recommend a breeder, we like to know what we are recommending so knowing the pedigrees, backgrounds, championships, pics of parents, etc. helps to determine our recommendations. One MTer purchased two malts from a breeder per a recommendation! I think that possibly providing that information on your website is a good suggestion to assist in the decision making process of those who really want quality pups and for those of us who chose to recommend breeders. I feel by providing that information on your website you would only improve the site and make it more inviting! I live in Florida and taking a trip to see "pedigree papers" or the "parents" and the pups would be out of the question so having access to the information on your website would be of great help to me personally if I am going to pay the amount you are asking.......do you see what I mean??

You sounded offended a bit but really they are good questions and most of the ladies on this site do speak highly of the breeders and the sites that provide that information. So just think about the benefits from providing the information on your site! Hope your thumb is better soon!

Carol, perhaps when I figure out how to do such, maybe I will. But like I said before that doesn't have that much to do with how my pricing is set. Thank you for the advice. However ,not everyone has websites in the show world/pet selling world and you would have to drive and see before purchasing. We don't do online purchasing w/our pups. Everyone drives here to purchase their pup. Website is just to give an idea of the look and pricing. Plenty of times I have pups in the $2,000-$2,500 price range. Time of year and size and quality of pup depend on that. I appreciate the refferal idea, but it's not why I came to this site. I just want to talk maltese.

As for my thumb..it hurts..it's actually my hand.

You can't compare yourself to Chrisman , look at his site, his prices may be high but he has the pedigree listed and any info you may want on your new pup. Said two times my pricing doesnt have much to do w/pedigrees. don't sell to breeders so doesn't matter. I'm not trying to argue w/you. I have the right to do whatever I want and price my gorgeous pups at whatever I choose to right? My pups are unbelievably adorable and considering my pups are all over the United States (pick up not shipping) than I'd say others agree too.

It's very hard to find what you're looking for in a puppy these days. Everyone has different wants. I can meet one persons wants perfectly but not yours understand? We are all different

I do wish you the very best in finding your perfect puppy! Everyone has the right to be satisfied with their new best friend!

It is your website but you must know that anyone can access it with a "google" search! And really, it was good advertisement! But I felt you were upset that it was done here "without your permission" as you put it.........so hopefully, Admin will honor my request to remove it from the post but not the post itself as Bek74 has her rights as well!

I understand what you are saying from the "seller's viewpoint" about how you establish your pricing, etc.........but from a "buyer's viewpoint" the things I mentioned that I would want to see before paying the prices you are asking are important to me as the buyer, not just the size, time of year, etc. So there is the seller viewpoint and the buyer viewpoint! If you are not having a problem with the way your website is set up and your pricing.........what more is there to say!!

I see My name was mentioned. Andrea ( goldstar), I don't see the problem with your site being posted, it is a public site, ANYBODY can google it, infact you even asked about some breeders info yourself and links where provided for you, and like you have said many times your proud of your babies and what you do and the prices you sell them for, so I don't understand why you wouldn't want to share with others and what the big deal is over your site being posted ( especially since you asked about other breeders yourself).

From what I have read, nothing BAD or MEAN was said about your beautiful pups, just some constructive criticism, I think you read alot more into peoples posts that just isn't there. As to not knowing how to put there pedigree's up, just post some pics of the parents, grandparents and have a look at the papers, and type the info from them, I am sure that isn't to hard.

It's not that everyone is AGAINST you, we would just like to know, even if it has NOTHING to do with your prices, some of us would like to know the lineage of your pups, just because like you, we luv maltese and would be very interested. I honestly don't see why it is such an issue, you have the papers, just type.

I would like to add, alot of reputable breeders do ship, even Chrisman. I could understand due to the SIZE of your pups the reasoning behind not shipping, but to make such a broad statment about breeders who ship not being reputable was a bit to much and untrue.
