Mika is 5 years old and a SWEETIE. As you can see she is super cute. She is not on petfinder quite yet, but will be in a couple of days. Her little ears stand straight up on her head. She belonged to a breeder and has papers. She is not your typical breeder dog. She is very social and knows her way around a house. She is healthy and active and just loves to love on you. We are guessing her ears stand up because she has always had straight ears and as you know some just have perky ears that are held down by the hair. Sooo cute!
I will post the petfinder link as soon as the rescue posts her on petfinder.

Yes, she was a breeding dog. I am so happy to announce that my parents adopted Mika and we adopted her puppy. A few days after we started fostering her, the rescue contacted us and needed us to take in a puppy that the breeder was surrendering because once mommy was gone she stopped eating, even though she had been weaned for a week. She was less than 7 weeks old and tiny tiny. It didn't take her long to turn around and within the week nobody could believe that she was the pup who stopped eating. She is now almost 12 weeks old. Now that mommy is gone, and finally getting much deserved rest, we are taking a small break from fostering so that we can get this little toot house trained and allow Maggie and the new puppy time to get acquainted without an additional (temporary) dog in the home. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers!

Can we see pictures of the pup???? I am so glad that neither of them had to stay in foster for very long. This is exactly why I don't foster..........I don't think I could part with them. :( :( :( At least you know where mommy is and you are keeping baby. I can't wait to see pictures of them both. :)

Thanks for the update!
