Thumbs up SleepyPod Review

Hello all,

A while ago Wookie got a "SleepyPod" and at first I looked at it and thought, "Ok what will we do with this?"

I have found at least two really great uses for it.
One is in the car. If, for any reason, I don't wish to harness Wookie into his carseat, I use the SleepyPod and he is just as safe. You can buckle the Pod right in and zip it closed.
Also, if you are going to a resturant (dog friendly of course) you can sit the Pod in a chair and your furry companion can sit in the Pod in complete comfort.

www.meowme.com just in case you aren't sure what a SleepyPod is.

I really like our's now.

enJOY!
Melanie

Alrighty then, that was not much fun. Wookie was so "standoffish" and didn't want his photo taken at all. However here is what I got, please forgive his "unkept" look but today is bath day and I just haven't gotten to it yet and I put his topknot in too fast to get all the tiny hairs. Sorry about that.

Wookie thought we were going out and now he's pissed off at me. Silly boy!

Ok about the SleepyPod, I have to tell you, it's VERY comfortable and well padded inside. The zip open top dome zips on and off the bottom easily and has velcro attaching handles. Wookie has plenty of room inside and usually he has a blanket and a few toys inside. OH it may seem "lame" that I still have the tag attached but I love the little lamb that is the company's logo. hehee silly me!

enJOY!

You would enjoy it so much because SleepyPod offers a GREAT "heating unit" too! And up in MN, you sure could use that in the Winter!

The pod reminds me of a egg hatching or something landing on the moon......but the little chickadee or that astronaut is sure gorgeous!!!!!
Is it hot or well ventilated? You said it straps right in (seatbelt)? Is it heavy?

Tell Mr. Wookie is very handsome and a great tv star.

I have an "In.Dog.Neeto" bag for Alex. He can see outside, but you can barely see him inside.

Thank you for your kind words about my lil "traveler". It's very well ventilated, keep in mind we live in South Florida and that is a must. Nope it's not heavy, I have a bad neck and back and don't carry heavy things. And yes you can put the shoulder part of the seatbelt under the strap and the lap part around the bottom front of the pod. It's a GREAT traveling Pod.

Heya Jane,
Chandra Try recomended this bag to me a while ago. Do they make only one style of bag? Do you have the bag or the backpack? Which size do you have? And is there really enough ventilation? I think I will put it on my birthday list.

Thanks Melanie for the scoop on that interesting item. I have never seen one up around the Chicago area.

Lol Melanie, a lot of us bought the In.Dog.Neeto bag because of Chandra being so in love with it. It's so long ago I don't remember what sizes there are. If there were sizes, mine is probably a medium. There is ventilation on the sides and one on the front (8" x 6"). I think you can use it both ways, on shoulder and back pack (I must be missing some pieces for the back pack but the hooking up straps are definately there). It is really seldom that we take Alex with us, so I have used the thing maybe 2 or 3 times. But still he remembered. When I took it out yesterday, he wanted to get inside, he knew it was his.
