Santa came early

The Maltese got two new beds. Please don't ask how many beds we have replaced due to no fault to them. My dachshund remodels the beds but I think she has finally gotten over this stage. Anyway, I posted the video of them getting one of the beds on FB. They were soooooo excited and Yeti expresses her gratitude. It is posted on my wall Jenell Martin Parker. I would down load it here but since I got Windows 10, I don't know how to get it here. I spent an hour last night trying to resize a picture. It was so easy to do all this before I upgraded. lol. I could load it to UTube if anyone can't see it on FB. I am still slow due to my back but did go to the Pet Store and finished up my shopping. The clerk said, oh my, your dogs are so lucky. I laughed and said, these are not for my dogs, they are Christmas gifts. ha. I also have dachshund puppies and part of it was for their gift bags. I am done with all my family and dog shopping!!!! Due to my back, I could not get all the dogs ready for Christmas cards. I came up with a plan for the cards. Only one dog is featured this year, but hope it will bring a smile on your faces.

Sounds exciting for the pups! Any kind of new thing really excites them. One year Jack was more excited about the darn wrapping paper than the gift!!
Are they all sharing the 2 beds? That should be interesting.
Hope your back is feeling better soon, it really sucks when the holidays are coming and pain is involved.
Oh, congrats on the new puppies!! How many?

I wish I could get mine to not tear up beds or think they are toys to drag all over the house.

If you watch closely, Eli tries to steal the big bed.

Normally my back gets well but not this time. I can't sit for long. Bending and lifting is the pits. I have an appointment with a back specialist but could not see him until January. I don't take the pain meds they gave me because they make me lazy and they don't help the pain. I am taking motrin and aleeve which helps. I don't know if they can really fix it. I have degenerative disc disease per the x rays. I won't do anything radical. My doctor said once you do it, you can't go back. He said he had friends that had surgery and it only worked on one. I might consider a spacer. Bad backs run in my family. Guess it could be worse so I am thankful that all my test say I am healthy at this time. I take reclast once a year and my bone density test are good. I guess I am realizing that I am old and I don't like it. ha.

Lulu is not a big dachshund and she had three. 2 boys and 1 girl. She had two smooth hair and one long hair. She was bred with a EE Cream male. All her puppies were blk/tan. Lulu is from an European lineage and I think they are prettier than the American lineage. They are out of the same lineage of my Sadie (passed) and it took me five years to find the same lineage. I am getting to old for puppies. I did this because of my Colleyville friends. My BFF's daughter has been waiting 2 years for this to happen. I tried to get Jan to take one. ha. We still have one available and I bet Jack would love him.

PS. I offer you the same deal as the Maltese. The Males in dachshunds are the cuddle bugs. You can ask all my dachshund friends. No grooming. Just bath and rub dry. They love, love toys. We are potty training them to the pads.

Jenell I am so sorry to hear your having back issues. I think we women get hit with that more than men Sending you positive thoughts and energy for a speedy recovery.

I am definitely going to watch the video.

Thanks Jessica. Not totally well, but better. I just want to be able to work in my yard and play with the dogs.
