Thank you. He's a little sweetie to me, just not to the rest of the world. Funny, he is less reticent or barking etc with strangers at PetSmart! But look at when you knock on my door |

That's ok, they are just doing their job, that's my opinion. Jack is a great watch dog, he has alerted us many times of things going on outside.

I think they all do this when some one comes to the door. And I agree it is their job. You don't want them to be friendly to every body. Charlie barks when my massage therapist comes to the house. Once he sees her, he stops barking and wants to play with her.

Sherlock is just adorable!!!! What a sweet face.......barking is a way to communicate for a dog, so be glad he is an alert one. I have four that will bark when strangers walk in our neighbors yard or when the doorbell rings. Never a false alarm with them!!! They hear, see and smell things before us so they are keeping good watch over us.

Sherlock is adorable!!!!! They are a big dog in a little body. Every Tuesday I wake to the sounds of barking because that is trash day. lol
