We like walks

The boys love their walks. Today I asked them if they wanted to go bye-bye and go for a hike. All 3 ran to the door. Ollie and Bentley were turning circles. Ollie was pawing at the door. All 3 were wagging their tails. They all enjoyed the walk through a near-by park.

Charlie does not like to walk. Alex liked it. He always went to the mail box with my husband. He tried with Charlie a few times but he does not want to go.

Jack loves going for his walks with my son. He even gets to decide which direction they take. My son decides how many potty breaks he gets because Jack would pick every tree, bush, leaf, twig is his sight to leave a little deposit.

Try that times 3. We have the "no we are not going to stop at every mailbox, tree, bush, etc." talk quite a bit on our walks. Mine will still try to leave their "calling card" when they have nothing left to leave.

I think I might try that "walk" thing you are all talking about with a couple of mine. I can tell you right now Buffy and Toby will be my stop at everything walkers. Krissie I don't think will like it and Toby will be the best for walking as he thinks he is the "man" of the pack and is fearless about everything. Well almost everything........not keen on going into the pool and showing the girls how much fun it can be.

Now now Toby. You are supposed to be the leader. Do all of yours swim? Mine can all swim but it is not high on their favorites list.

Don't know if they swim or not. They have all fallen into the pool at one time or another but I never give them the chance to save themselves by swimming. I jump in and save them. Kallie, my sweet Kallie was the only one that fell in and actually was able to swim to the side to be helped out. I miss that girl.

Dogs naturally know how to swim. They drawn in the pools because they cannot get out.
