Hello from Washington PA

Hello, I am Mumbi I live in Washington PA. I have a lovely maltese male dog named Ash. I used to have a female maltese however I lost her to a liver shunt. I hope to get three more maltese dogs by the end of the year as I love this breed. I would like to try out some local dog shows this year and will start conformation classes soon.

I have two boys 10 and 14, they help with the daily care of Ash. My 10-year is great at drying Ash with out high velocity dryer, feeds him and takes him out for his works everyday.

I'm glad to join a forum of other maltese owners and look forward to sharing the knowledge I have accumulated in my journey with my maltese.

Well HELLO AND WELCOME to you and your fluff. Maltese is my favorite breed as well. I had four females but lost one in June, 2016.

I live in Florida with 3 female Maltese (Brandy, Buffy and Krissie). I also have a male Yorkie (Toby). Mother to 3 kids and 3 grandchildren.

So glad you joined the forum and look forward to hearing more about you and Ash. Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself and Ash!

HI & welcome to you and Ash from me too. I'm Jan and have a rescue Maltese mix. The Maltese breed just gets into you, doesn't it?

Welcome to you and Ash. He is very cute. How nice of your boys to help you out with Ash ! Maybe your oldest can handle him at dog shows. I know a lady in California whose daughter has been doing this for a long time.

Welcome! Little Ash is adorable, and I'm sorry to hear about your other baby. I lost my almost 9 year old, Emma, to a previously undiagnosed liver shunt last fall and was devastated. I now have a 6 month old puppy, Olivia, who is making life interesting again.

Welcome to Ash. I have 2 Maltese (1 is a rescue) and 1 Morkie (half maltese and half yorkie). Love my babies.
