Birth Announcement

I am looking forward to getting a good night's sleep. For the past week, I have not gotten more than 3-4 hours of sleep a day. When I went to Colorado, I assume Yeti wanted to give Amy and Jason a wedding gift. A gift that she cannot keep and a gift that can't be taken back. We have 5 boys and l girl. In addition, Lulu learned what the term whoop ass means when she snuck into the puppy room. All is calm....as calm as it gets in my house.

Oh, how exciting!!! Is that a big litter for a Maltese? How exhausting for the mommy and you!!! Are they all spoken for already? Are you keeping any?
Have you thought of names? I'm so excited.....puppies, puppies everywhere.

Yes a very big litter for a Maltese. It was very exhausting. I am not planning on keeping any. Last time I had a client list and happy to report, all are so pleased with their pups. I don't have a client list this time round. I am beginning to ask around. So if anyone is interested in a male puppy, pm me. We are holding on to the female until a certain family member makes a decision. There is a good chance she will be available at a later date. ha. My vet said Yeti was small until he picked her up for an xray. She was sooooo heavy. I think a lot was water weight. ha When her water broke, I have never seen that much water from a pup. I started washing towels, doggie beds early this morning. I also washed Yeti from midway down. I have not been able to leave the house so going to the pet store today was such a relaxing experience. I was running out of canned food. Since Yeti is an icon at our Petco, they had to see pictures.

I must tell a sweet story. My crew copy each other and learn from each other. When Yeti was nesting on and off for two weeks, she would dig on the tile. Eli, bless his heart, would watch her. After a bit, he would help her dig. She has had her puppies but Eli is still nesting for her. ha.

Yeti is making sure I am on my toes. I use the sheep skin beds for the puppies. I have two. I change them out daily. I also air dry them in the wash room. Today I changed the bedding. This evening, she was walking down the hall and went into the wash room. Stood on her back legs, and got the clean bed. I changed the bed.....AGAIN. She does not like anything on her fur. She woke me up at 1 am to wash her butt. Once she was clean, she jumped back in with her puppies. I have images in my mind of her in an apron, mop and dust cloth.

That's what good mommies do, clean, clean & clean.
