Hiya I'm jane

I live in Phoenix with my two Maltese. Hoping to meet some interesting people here (you must be interesting if you love these cute dogs), make a few friends and participate in the discussions.

Hi!!!! Welcome to Maltesetalk! Maltese is my favorite breed. I have three female Maltese, all on the older side. I lost one of my girls two years ago to congestive heart failure. I also had a male yorkie that recently passed with lung cancer........very difficult and sad. The only downside to being loved and falling in love with these marvelous creatures is when they leave us.

How old are your sweeties? Names??

Hi,
I call the Millie and Mollie (please don't laugh - apparently my son-in-law giggles every time he hears their names called). I've had them both for 5 years. Their both very spritely and in good health. It is a pleasure to meet you.

No laughing going on here! Love both names. All my babies names end the same. I've had a Kelsey, Kallie, Brandy, Toby, Buffy, and a Krissie. I would not hesitate to call one of my babies Millie or Mollie.

Originally I was just going to get one but couldn't decide on the name - Millie or Mollie - and they were so cute so I got two. They get on very well together so they always have company.

Welcome! I have a one year old named Olivia who definitely keeps things interesting at my house! I lost my 8 and a half year old, Emma, last year due to liver problems, but Olivia has been a welcome addition.

I'm so sorry about your loss. I had a friend who went through the same thing with his Sheltie. He spent a fortune on tests and they still didn't know what to do for him. It's always sad when you lose a loved one.

Welcome! I have 3. One is a Morkie (Maltesse/Yorkie mix) and the other 2 are Maltese. All boys. I think your babies names are cute!

I think very much like you.........guess that's how I ended up with five fluffs at one time.

Two of mine are attached at the hip and just love each other so much. Buffy and Krissie hit it off right at the start. Buffy was 8 at the time and Krissie was 5 and the are so cute together.
