Hello Everyone

Been MIA, but things are settling down again, I hope!
I've been having some health issues again with the fibro, major migraine headache issues, cramping attacks and sleeping up to 14 hrs a day. Walking is getting harder but I'm trying not to get depressed.
The washer (only 4 months old) just flooded the utility room Saturday night. Took me over an hour today to get thru.....press this #, then this # and so on just to talk to a person. Then, put thru to another number and started all over again with press this, press that and finally a 25 minute wait till someone came on to set up an appt. No washer until a week from tomorrow!!
On top of that, when we had to mop up the water, we needed to move the dryer, so doesn't the vent hose come off! My hubby tried to get it reattached but he couldn't, so now no dryer either. My nephew, who does vent cleaning is coming over to hook it up for us.
Life can be so boring!!! Thank goodness we have Jack to entertain us 24/7. He never lets us down.
I think that's enough now, I'm tired, going to go take a nap

Wow. A nap was seriously needed. AS well as many other things. I hate appliances. They just don't last the way they should. Customer service these days is just awful. Just trying to get to talk to a live person is a challenge - I seem to always get caught in those voice recorded Press # button, none of which is what I need and there is never the option to talk to a real person. No washer and dryer = major pain!

It would be too nice if everything would always go smoothly. I hate to talk to a machine. Specially the ones where the fake person on the other side does not understand what you are saying. When will they understand that their voice thing does not work since not every body has the same accent.

I just changed my kitchen appliances : fridge, oven, microwave/convection and dishwasher. Would have only needed to change the oven and fridge but did all of them because of the color. My old appliances were white and good luck to find white ones nowadays. I went with Bosh for the convection oven, speedoven and dishwasher ; did not like their refrigerator so went with Kitchenaid. So hopefully I will be okay for the next 10 years. My old ones were 10 years old.

We are getting all new appliances too! Fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave, just updating everything so all matches color. Of course everything is kinda old and overdue for a breakdown.

It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the washer!
Turned out to be the pipe that the hose from the washer was inserted into was blocked!
Our nephew came over and put on a new dryer vent hose and hooked it up for us.
So, except for a flooded floor and a week with no washer, it only cost us $25.
