Fluffs in for a tough week

Tebow and Ollie have had their nails clipped and paw pads trimmed. Bentley is up tomorrow. He's my one I have to muzzle to do. My toenail clippers just weren't sharp anymore and I thought it best to buy a new pair before I even touched Bentley's paws. They all need baths and haircuts. Their hair has grown so fast this summer. Hubby even commented today that they all needed baths and hair cuts. Sigh.

It truly amazes me how fast fluff hair grows. Seems like you just get it done and it's time to do it all over again......maybe it just seems that way with multiple fluffs.

Silly question....why do you trim their paws?

Jack just got groomed last Thursday. I've never heard them tell me about the paws, only the nails.

I bet they do. It's the underneath side of their paws. Hair grows between the paw pads. Keeping it trimmed gives them better traction and they track less dirt into the house. It's not a big deal so not something a groomer would comment on - unless they are like mine and hate it. By doing it ahead of time it makes the rest of the grooming session easier.

Ok, I understand. It takes me a while to catch on sometimes!
