National Pet Memorial Day (9/9/2012)

The 2nd Sunday in September is National Pet Memorial Day! Please take a moment to remember your beloved pet(s) that has passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.
Rest in peace and be assured that we loved you with all our hearts and miss you every day. You were all one of a kind and because of the love and joy you brought us, we have the ability to heal our broken hearts and open our hearts to another.
We do not have to wait for Heaven, it is here on Earth and has four legs
My life: a marathon, a jog, a walk (now) and the end will be a crawl.

Same goes for my Abby and TJ. Abby has been gone just 5 years and I still cry when I look at photos and see her stuffed toys. TJ our Lab has been done 3 years this month and we still miss our big boy so much. He was a rescue and an awesome brother to tiny Belle when we got her. Denny misses his walking and hiking buddy more than he will admit. We opened our hearts back up and let Sammy and Belle and Rosie in to be loved like our babies at the bridge were loved. Miss you my precious babies, I will see you soon.

I always think of my little girl malt, Teddy and my first Tzu, Charley almost daily but I had many great dogs before that too. It is funny (not haha) that on Sunday I was thinking about all the dogs we'd had and all the great things they brought to our lives over the years. I miss them all and hope to see them again at the Bridge some day.
